Day 1: Begin your escape with a hotel pickup in Chiang Mai (08:00–08:30 AM). Drive through forested hills to Mok Fa Waterfall, where cool waters and birdsong set a peaceful tone. Ascend into the panoramic realm of Huay Nam Dang National Park, a sanctuary for early mist and distant mountains. In Pai, a fresh, local lunch awaits. Then, wander Santichon Village, where Yunnan heritage thrives in every smile and cup of tea. Depending on the weather, you’ll either soak in the mineral warmth of Tha Pai Hot Spring (cool season) or bathe under the refreshing streams of Mo Paeng Waterfall (hot season). End the day with a sunset moment at Phra That Mae Yen Temple—or take the gentle route to Two Huts Pai. Evenings come alive at Pai Walking Street, full of artisan crafts and street flavors.
