Next, visit Wachiratarn Waterfall, one of Chiang Mai’s most famous and photogenic waterfalls. Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch before heading to Mae Hong Son town, where your afternoon includes a visit to the twin lakeside temples, Wat Jong Kham and Wat Jong Klang, known for their unique Shan-style architecture. Finish your day with dinner and an overnight stay at Fern Resort (3-Star Hotel) in downtown Mae Hong Son.

Day 2: After breakfast, head to Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, a hilltop temple that offers stunning views over Mae Hong Son town and the surrounding mist-covered mountains. Continue to Ban Huay Sua Tao, home to the famous Long Neck Karen people, where you can interact with villagers and learn about their unique way of life. Next, enjoy lunch at Ban Jabo, a Black Lahu hilltop village with panoramic views and cliffside noodle restaurants.
